Mechanical Engineer:

Skilled and experienced in the design and development of industrial automation equipment specific to the automotive and electronic industry.

 

Applicants must be well versed in:

  • Fully / Semi Automatic Assembly Machines (within small tolerances)
  • Welding (Resistance / MIG)
  • Testing Equipment
  • Equipment Upgrading and Redesigns

 

Successful candidate will have at least four (4) years hands on experience in Mechanical Engineering specific to the automation field with experience and knowledge of Autodesk Inventor (v8 and up) and Solidworks (2004 and up) as well as a post secondary diploma or engineering degree specializing in mechanical engineering.


Controls Engineer:

Skilled and experienced in the design and development of industrial automation control systems and machine I/O.

 

Applicants must be well versed in:

  • Design, programming and commissioning of  assembly and welding systems
  • Design power and control schematic diagrams
  • Design safety circuits based on machine applications and current Health and Safety Regulations
  • Select components and prepare bill of materials

 

Successful candidate will have at least four (4) years hands on experience in programming and troubleshooting with Omron and/or Allen Bradley controllers as well as a post secondary diploma or engineering degree specializing in electronics, electrical or controls technology.

 


PLC Programmer:

Skilled in the task of developing and implementing PLC control programs specific to customer and project requirements, separately or in combination, involving:

  • Programmable Logic Controllers
  • Computers
  • Motion Controls
  • Vision Systems
  • Robotics

 

Successful candidate will have at least four (4) years hands on experience in programming and troubleshooting with Omron and/or Allen Bradley controllers as well as a post secondary diploma or engineering degree specializing in electronics, electrical or controls technology.

 


Electrician:

Skilled in the task of wiring control panels and machines based on pre-designed electrical schematics and I/O diagrams

 

Applicants must be well versed in:

  • Common Wiring Practices (as per Electrical Safety Authority guidelines)
  • Reading Electrical Schematics and I/O Diagrams
  • Troubleshooting Completed Electrical Panels and Machines

 

Successful candidate will have at least four (4) years hands on experience in automation controls wiring.

 


Machine Assembler:

The Machine Assembler is responsible for the assembly of all mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic components within an automated system, including making tooling modifications.

 

Applicants must be well versed in:

  • Experience in building, assembling and troubleshooting automation equipment
  • Experience with tool room equipment and machinery
  • Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Knowledge of mechanical machinery

 

Successful candidate will have at least four (4) years hands on experience in automation machine assembling.
